Triwizard Tournament

The Triwizard Tournament was a tournament held between Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons. It began in approximately 1294, but was discontinued (date unknown) when the death toll mounted too high.

A revival was attempted in 1994 with disastrous results, due to the fact that the tournament was hoodwinked by Barty Crouch Jr. as part of a complex plan to restore Lord Voldemort to power.
