Lightspeed
Lightspeed was a slang term referring to the speed at which a starship travelled through hyperspace. For example; "Let's make the jump to lightspeed". Lightspeed, or traveling through hyperspace with a 1x hyperdrive motivator was actually over one hundred million times faster than the speed of light, allowing a ship to cross the Galaxy in hours.
