Kohlinar

Kohlinar is a Vulcan ritual which signifies the purging of all emotions, leaving only pure logic.

T'Klass was one of the first Kohlinar masters, and knew Surak. His mummified remains are kept in the catacombs of the T'Karath Sanctuary, but are not marked. (ENT: "Awakening")

Spock began this ritual in 2270, but it was interrupted in the 11th hour by emanations from the V'Ger probe. (Star Trek: The Motion Picture)

When Asil, daughter of Tuvok and T'Pel, attained Kohlinar, her fathers friend Kathryn Janeway was present. (VOY: "Fury")
