Fred and George Weasley (born April 1, 1978) are Ron's older twin brothers. Best known for being pranksters and apparent slackers, they became very successful after opening their joke shop, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. They attended school from 1989-1996. During their seventh year, they dropped out, having more than what they needed to start their joke shop. Both were Beaters for the Gryffindor Quidditch team while in school. Although they appeared to be slackers, they knew their magic, for they were quite capable of leaving behind a large bit of trouble for Dolores Umbridge, who was the reason they did not want to stay at school anymore.

Fred and George can usually be found in their flat above their shop in Diagon Alley.
