Christopher Columbus (born 10 September 1958 in Spangler, Pennsylvania) is an American film maker. His work includes the Harry Potter films, Home Alone and Mrs. Doubtfire. Currently, he is directing the film version of the Broadway musical "Rent" in San Francisco.
