Aargau was a planet in the Zug system, between Coruscant and Vulpter, near the Corellian Run. It was the headquarters of the Bank of Aargau, which was part of the InterGalactic Banking Clan. Aargau also was the location of the headquarters of numerous other banks and the headquarters of Z-Gomot Ternbuell Guppat Corp., a Banking Clan manufactuerer. During the Clone Wars, Aargau was officially neutral, but Clone troopers were sent in to keep it secure nonetheless. Much of the habitable area of the planet was covered by a mammoth pyramid-shaped structure, which was subdivided into seven color-coded levels, one the highest and smallest, seven being the lowest and biggest.

Trivia
Aargau is a Swiss canton near the banking capital of Switzerland, Zurich. Zug, another canton, is the undisputed tax haven of Switzerland.
